Your feed, your members, your messages, your courses and your store, on one site with your name on it. No algorithm between you and your fans, and no platform taking a cut.
The algorithm decides who sees you. Your followers don't see your posts unless the feed decides to show them, and that rule changes without notice.
Lost in the feed. Your post sits between ads, competitors and whatever is trending, competing for a few seconds of attention.
Mass reporting. Coordinated reports can get posts removed or an account restricted before anyone at the platform looks.
False copyright strikes. One bad-faith claim can pull a video or demonetize it while you wait for an appeal.
Automated moderation mistakes. Filters misread context, so ordinary posts get flagged, hidden or removed.
Sudden policy changes. What was allowed last month can cost you reach, money or the account this month.
Hacked accounts. If someone takes over your login, getting the account back can take weeks, if it comes back at all.
Impersonation. Fake accounts using your name and photos message your fans and damage trust.
Shadowbans. Reach drops with no notice and no explanation, so you can't fix what you can't see.
Demonetization. Payouts can be paused or cut by a policy decision you had no part in.
An app sold or banned. A platform can be sold, shut down or banned in a country, taking your audience with it.
Fans scattered everywhere. Some follow you here, some there, and no single place has all of them.
Too many subscriptions. Fans pay for several apps to follow you, and you pay for several tools to run it.
The platform keeps most of the ad money. Your work fills the feed; most of the advertising revenue it earns stays with the platform.
No way to export your followers. On most platforms a follower isn't a contact. If you leave, you can't take them with you.
What owning it on detached.social changes
Every member is a real contact. Your member list is yours, exportable any time. Creator Pro and Flagship add your own email list.
No algorithm between you and your fans. Members see what you post, in order.
Your name, your domain. One home with your name on it, instead of a profile on someone else's app.
Your rules. You and your moderators decide what stays up, with reports, mutes, bans and a record of every action.
No platform cut on memberships. On Creator Pro and Flagship, members pay you through your own Square account at Square's card rates. We charge a flat monthly fee.
One place for everything. Feed, messages, memberships, courses, events and store in one place (depending on your plan), so fans need one login.
Keep posting everywhere. Platforms stay useful as roads that bring people to your home. You just stop living on them.

Inside three sample communitiesAn event promoter, a band and a money educator, each on their own detached.social site. The creators, members and numbers are made up; the feeds are the ones in the demo, where every post reaches every member and there's no algorithm in between.
The cost of renting
What the platform's cut costs you this year.
A year of membership income$216,000
The platform keeps$21,600
Creator Pro, first year$14,500
You keep, on your own site$7,100 more
Break-even: about 1,007 paying members at this price and platform cut. Below that, owning your audience has to be worth it on its own.
Every figure comes from your sliders. See the assumptions behind these numbers
1,500 paying members at $12 a month, for 12 months. The platform keeps 10% of earnings, plus card processing. Card processing on your own site at Square's standard online rate (2.9% + 30¢), the same in both cases. Creator Pro plan: $2,500 setup fee (launch sale price, through November 6) plus 12 monthly payments of $1,000. Platform fees differ; set yours with the slider.
Walk around a creator's community like a member. Then run it like the creator.
Post to the feed, message a member, take a lesson and pass the quiz, buy from the store, then switch to the dashboard to see members, revenue and moderation. Every screen works.
Launch sale: the setup fee is half off on Creator Pro and Flagship, for sign-ups by Friday, November 6, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Monthly prices don't change.
Setup is paid today. Every plan renews monthly until you cancel online, anytime. Full payment terms are under each plan.

What happens after I pay?
You get a welcome email with your plan's terms and a short intake form right away. Send your logo, colors, business details and the logins we need through the secure form. Your client portal shows every step toward going live in 10 business days.
How does billing work?
You pay the one-time setup fee at checkout. Your monthly plan starts 30 days later and renews each month until you cancel. Or prepay: pay 3 months upfront with the setup fee, get the 4th month free, and the monthly plan starts after those 4 months. Every amount is shown before you pay, and every charge goes through Square.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel online in your client portal, anytime, with one button. There's no contract. Monthly plans cancel online anytime and end at the close of the paid period, with no partial-month refunds. The setup fee is refundable until build work starts and nonrefundable after.
What is your refund policy?
Monthly plans cancel online anytime and end at the close of the paid period, with no partial-month refunds. The setup fee is refundable until build work starts and nonrefundable after.
Do I have to get on a sales call?
No. Everything happens online: try the demo, pick a plan and check out. If you'd rather talk, you can book a short call. Book a call
How long does setup take?
Live in 10 business days, counted from the day we receive your completed intake form. Your portal tracks each step so you always know where your build stands.
How can I pay?
Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Square. Card details go straight to Square and never touch our servers. We don't send invoices for plans; checkout handles everything in one step.
Who owns my data?
You do. Export everything anytime. If you leave, we hand over your data and delete our copy on request.
How do you keep logins and data secure?
Logins you share go through an encrypted form, never email, and are stored encrypted with access logged. Each client's records are walled off by database access rules. Card data is handled only by Square.
Is this AI?
Some of it, and we always say so. Replies are handled by automated agents working from our own knowledge base, and anything they can't answer goes to a person. The systems we build for you can do the same for your customers.
Which plan should I choose?
Community gives you your own social home. Creator Pro adds paid memberships, a blog, a video library and your email list, which is where most creators who already sell something start. Flagship adds an app, events, a store and courses. See plans
How much does it cost?
Community: $2,500 setup, then $500 a month. Creator Pro: $2,500 setup during the launch sale (normally $5,000), then $1,000 a month. Flagship: $3,750 setup during the launch sale (normally $7,500), then $1,500 a month. The launch sale runs through Friday, November 6, 2026, 11:59 PM ET; monthly prices don't change. On any plan you can prepay 3 months and get the 4th month free. See plans
Do you take a cut of my earnings?
No. You connect your own Square account and members pay you directly at Square's standard card rates. You're the seller, the money lands in your account, and we never hold it or see card numbers. If you'd rather use another checkout, paste its link on any ticket, product or tier. We charge only the flat monthly plan.
How do I move my audience over?
We import your existing member and email lists where the platform allows an export, and give you launch posts and links to send fans over. Your current pages can keep running while people move.
How does moderation work?
Members can report posts. You and your moderators get a queue with hide, mute and ban, plus a copyright takedown form and a record of every action.
Is the app in the App Store?
Flagship includes an installable app: fans add your icon to their home screen straight from your site, no app store needed. Store listings can be quoted separately.
Free audit
Not ready yet? Get a free audit.
We'll look at where your audience lives today, what each platform costs you and what your own site could look like, and email you a one-page report.
