Assumptions: fees use the rates listed under Sources and the cut you set for any other platform; payment processing on Patreon is extra and not included. Reach uses the average share of followers who see an organic post, measured on brand pages with 1K to 1M followers; creators' reach varies. We found no comparable public benchmark for TikTok, YouTube or X, so they aren't estimated. On Creator Pro, members pay you through your own Square account at Square's card rates, which aren't included above. Nothing here is a promise of results.

Risks you can't control on a rented platform
  • Mass reporting
  • False copyright strikes
  • Automated moderation mistakes
  • Sudden policy changes
  • Hacked accounts
  • Impersonation
  • Shadowbans
  • Demonetization
  • The app being sold or banned in a country
  • No way to export followers as contacts

Every one of these can cut you off from your audience overnight. A list you own can't be taken away. Read why
