Refunds and cancellation
Cancel anytime, online
Open your client portal and press Cancel plan. That's it. Your plan won't renew, and your service runs to the end of the period you've already paid for. You'll get an email confirming the date.
Monthly payments
Monthly payments aren't refunded for partial months.
Prepaid months
Prepay option: pay your first 3 months upfront and the 4th month is free. Your monthly plan then starts automatically when the 4 months are over. If you get a setup refund before build work starts, the prepaid months are refunded too. After build work starts, prepaid months aren't refunded; if you cancel, your service runs to the end of the 4 months.
Setup fee
The setup fee is fully refundable until build work starts. Build work starts when you submit your intake form. After that, the setup fee is nonrefundable.
To ask for a setup refund before you've submitted the intake form, email morgan@detached.social and we'll refund it to your card. Refunds usually show up within 5 to 10 business days.
