Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and Ninth Vale Holdings LLC, 8 The Green, Suite B, Dover, DE 19901 (“we”), which runs detached.social. By buying a plan you agree to them.
What you get
The plan you choose at checkout: we set up the features listed for your plan, connect them, host and maintain them, and make reasonable changes as part of your monthly fee. We aim to have you live within 10 business days of receiving your completed intake form. Delays caused by missing information, logins or third-party approvals pause that clock, and your portal shows where things stand.
Flagship custom features. Custom features are scoped in writing at onboarding and delivered within the build; anything beyond that scope is quoted separately and paid by Square payment link before work starts.
Payment and automatic renewal
You pay a one-time setup fee at checkout. Your monthly plan starts 30 days later and renews automatically every month at the price shown at checkout until you cancel. Payments are processed by Square using the card you provide, and you authorize us to charge it for each renewal. We'll email you before any price change, and the new price applies only if you keep your plan after that notice. Payment comes before any build work begins.
Prepaying. Prepay option: pay your first 3 months upfront and the 4th month is free. Your monthly plan then starts automatically when the 4 months are over. If you get a setup refund before build work starts, the prepaid months are refunded too. After build work starts, prepaid months aren't refunded; if you cancel, your service runs to the end of the 4 months.
Launch sale. Launch sale, for sign-ups by Friday, November 6, 2026, 11:59 PM ET: setup is $1,750 instead of $2,500 on Starter and half off on Growth, Full House and Signature (Footwork HQ), and half off on Creator Pro and Flagship (detached.social). Monthly prices don't change. Inquiry Desk and Community are full price. The sale price applies to the setup fee you pay at sign-up; it doesn't change your monthly price.
Canceling
You can cancel anytime online from your client portal with the Cancel plan button. No call or email needed. Your service continues to the end of the period you've paid for and isn't charged again. Monthly plans cancel online anytime and end at the close of the paid period, with no partial-month refunds. The setup fee is refundable until build work starts and nonrefundable after.
Your content and accounts
You own your content, data, brand and accounts. You give us permission to use them only to build and run your system. When you leave, we hand over your data on request and delete our copies, except records we must keep by law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use what we build for anything illegal, deceptive or that breaks the rules of the payment processor. We don't serve businesses in restricted categories such as cannabis, firearms, adult content, gambling, vaping or tobacco, crypto or high-risk lending.
Free tools, link pages and community
Our free tools, newsletter and The Commons are free to use and provided as they are, without the promises that come with a paid plan; we may change or end them. Results are estimates from the information you enter or from public information, and say their assumptions. Posts in the community are public; you keep ownership of what you post and let us display it. We remove spam, abuse and anything unlawful, and answers from our automated help agent say so.
Free link pages. You're responsible for what your page links to and for contacting the fans on your list lawfully, including a real mailing address and a one-click unsubscribe in every email you send them. We hold your fan list on your behalf, you can export it any time, and we never email your fans ourselves or sell the list. Free pages show a small “Built on detached.social” badge. We may remove pages that break these terms.
Third-party services
Your system relies on services like Square, your domain registrar and email provider. We're not responsible for their outages or policy changes, but we'll help you work around them.
Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim, and neither side is liable for indirect or lost-profit damages.
